Guanajuato, Gto., September 13, 2018.- The Department of Cultural Extension of the University of Guanajuato, through the coordination of artistic groups, invites to the III Festival of Theatre and Regional Meeting of Dramatic text that this time will take place from September 17th to the 22nd.

At the press conference they announced the program which will consist of workshops, lectures, presentations and staging.

The academic coordinator of the degree in performing arts, M. David Eudave Rosales mentioned that this festival has as its objective that every time there is a wider audience that has an interest in the theatre and that also promotes the work around the dramaturgy that takes place in Guanajuato.

He talked about the program and made it known that four workshops, 5 lectures, 6 theatre functions and an editorial presentation will be held. The following workshops will be held: Theatrical Clown Workshop given by Javier López Ríos; Dramaturgy Workshop directed by Martín Zapata; Performance Workshop given by Aleyda Gallardo; as well as a dramaturgy workshop given by Martin Zapata.

The lectures are about various topics such as the dramaturgy of Víctor Hugo Rascón Banda, reality and hyper textuality in dramaturgy and pantomime.

The representative of the theatre area at the third theatre Festival and Dramatic Encounter, M. Miguel Ángel Martínez Domínguez mentioned the plays that attendees will enjoy: "There is no return" directed and written by Juan José Prado Viramontes, "The Imaginary of Ibargüengoitia" directed by David Eudave, "LoveHurts" directed by Enrique Mijares and written by Blanca González.

Another play to be presented is "Small infidelities" by Mario Diament directed by Víctor Carpinteiro and "Orchids for a second funeral" a production of the Academic Secretariat of the University of Guanajuato.

Finally, the coordinator of the Regional text meeting of dramaturgy, M. Alejandro García Gallardo said that the editorial presentation of the selected works will be held.
