President of the UG participates in the dialogue table on citizen security and social cohesion in the SRE

Mexico City, September 27, 2018.- The President of the University of Guanajuato (UG), Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, participated in the second meeting of wills and dialogue tables on citizen security and Social cohesion, which was developed in the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs (SRE).

Dr. Guerrero Agripino, a master's in legal and Criminal Sciences and a Doctor of law, specializes in issues related to crime. He is also President of the Citizens' Commission of Evaluation and Support for the Social Prevention of Violence and Delinquency of the State of Guanajuato; he was invited to express his position on the thematic "capacities and collective actions between social actors and government for the sustainability of social prevention. Governance and governance".

The Crime prevention Manager of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Ms. Indira Villegas and the founding Director of the Trust for Competitiveness and Citizen Security (FICOSEC, A.C.), Mtro. Arturo Luján Olivas; also participated as speakers.

As moderator, Dr. Enrique Fernández Fassnacht, General Director of Citizen Participation for the Social Prevention of Violence and Delinquency, sub-secretary of prevention and citizen participation of the Ministry of the Interior.

The meeting of wills and dialogue tables on citizen security and social cohesion represents an inter-institutional effort to exchange ideas and experiences around the social prevention of violence and crime.
