Guanajuato, Gto., October 3, 2018.- 39 students from the University of Guanajuato (UG) received the Ceneval Award for Excellence Performance-EGEL (General Examination of Graduation from the bachelor's degree), being the UG the most representative in this recognition.

The event is organized by the National Evaluation Center (Ceneval) to promote the culture of merit and excellence in the Higher Education Institutions (IES) of the country. The protocol ceremony was held at the Anahuac University of Queretaro.

The overseer of the admission and exit process of the school trajectories Department of the Directorate of Academic affairs, Lic. Elena Angelina Guerrero Franco, said that at the national level were 77,964 students who presented the exam, "and it is the first time we have 39 winners in one semester. "

Lic. Guerrero Franco stressed that the EGEL measures the competencies and capabilities of the student to work in any company, "39 students have the outstanding skills. The most representative bachelor's degrees were Law and Nursing. "

It is worth mentioning that the participants who received the recognition reach the outstanding performance level in each one of the areas that make up the EGEL and represent 2.0% of the total number of students from the period January-June 2018.

The other degrees of the UG that had representation were administration, agricultural sciences, accounting, food engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, nutrition, psychology and pharmaceutical chemist biologist.
