Guanajuato, Gto., October 4, 2018.- The Ecosystem of Liaison, Innovation, Development and Application of Knowledge (Ecosystem VIDA UG) through the University Liaison Center with the Environment, A.C. (VEN) held the science fair, on September 25, in conjunction with the Department of Education of the State of Guanajuato (SEG).
Around 330 participants partook in this fair, among students of TV-middle schools; teachers, parents and various educational authorities from the municipalities of: Guanajuato, León, Salamanca, Tarimoro, San José Iturbide and Pénjamo.
The objective was to generate learning spaces to develop the dialogue and interaction between students and teachers of middle school education, as well as the liaison with higher level institutions and research that promote innovation and entrepreneurship in learners through scientific dissemination.
It is noteworthy that this event was possible by the liaison of the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Division of Engineering of the Irapuato-Salamanca Campus (DICIS) of the University of Guanajuato (UG) and the Inter-Institutional Energy Center of the University of Guanajuato (CINERGIA UG).
Activities were carried out within the fair, such as the teaching of the workshop "what is light?", in which the thematic content of the workshop was designed, including theoretical and experimental part. In addition, 12 workshops were held with 6 professors of DICIS, a liaison in quality of support to the teacher and attended 6 undergraduate and postgraduate Students.
We also had the presentation in stands of 18 projects, of which 5 were from the area of light; 5 in the Renewable energy area (CINERGIA UG); 8 of projects of the participating TV-schools of Pénjamo, Juventino Rosas and Guanajuato.
We also had the presentation of the play "We all are Leonardo" for all the participants, in charge of the theater group Gaviota. And finally took a tour of the exhibition "Kilometers per hour: made in Guanajuato." In which the attendees of the event were able to know the history and the importance of the automotive industry in the State.
