Guanajuato, Gto., October 11, 2018.- The student of the high school Guanajuato of the University of Guanajuato, Arian Iveth Chia Hernandez is participating in the Youth Olympic Games in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The student of the University of Guanajuato will compete in the athletics area. Arian Iveth was selected thanks to her highly competitive capability, which earned her to be considered in the Mexican delegation, which is made up of 93 young people aged between 15 and 18 years.

This delegation was championed by the National Sports Commission and will be participating until next October 18 in the third edition of the Youth Olympic Games, an international multisport event held every four years by the International Olympic Committee.

It is noteworthy that Arian Chia has a remarkable experience in athletics, in her career has the double national championship in the test of 2.000 meters with obstacles of the youth category.

Likewise, she has been a double national champion of mountain racing, a specialty that took her in the 2017 to the World Cup of this specialty that was held in Italy, also had international participations in the Dominican Republic and Texas.

Arian will be competing at the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018, on October 12th in the 2000-meter test with obstacles along with 18 more athletes, representatives of major powers of this specialty such as Kenya and Ethiopia. her coach is Professor Cecilio Blancarte Godínez.
