
Celaya, Gto., November 7, 2018.- With the presence of representatives of the Government, civil society, business organizations, entrepreneurs and national and foreign universities, began in the Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, the 2nd International Congress Emprende Innova UG 2018.
For 2 days, participants will create synergy to dialogue, reflect, discuss, dissent and agree on new ways to respond to the demands of markets, cities, businesses and society. In the different campuses, spaces will be created for the encounter with other coincidental or discordant visions that help to define the strategies for the future for the educational programs and for the training of the students.
Welcoming the attendees, Dr. Graciela Ma. De la Luz Ruiz Aguilar recognized the social commitment that characterizes the Campus, from where support and social benefit programs are designed and operated for vulnerable groups in the region, as well as emerging and developing companies.
The University of Guanajuato, with its 286 years of educational tradition, has shown its concern about the environment by generating strategies that allow the knowledge generated in the classroom and in its laboratories to contribute to the growth of the state and the country, said the Rector of the Campus.
She spoke of the model of the Ecosystem of Liaison, Innovation, Development and Application of Knowledge (VIDA UG), which makes transversality effective through the creation of a network where social organizations, knowledge disciplines, markets, society and the global world are linked to advancing social and human, technological and scientific development.
She mentioned that the Campus promotes the articulation of value chains where innovation, entrepreneurship, technological development, access to finance and the development of human skills and capacities are promoted, with the support of all those who make up the Entrepreneurial ecosystem, "innovation becomes a valuable element to which we cannot spare," she said.
In this sense, she pointed out that the UG through its educational model, redirects its approach towards a more dynamic and diverse teaching-learning process that allows the student to learn and solve real problems in real time; A model that goes beyond the classrooms to be inserted in virtual spaces, in the community and in the companies.
Adiel Augusto Ramírez, Director of economic development of the municipality, attended in representation of the Municipal president, Lic. Elvira Paniagua Rodríguez, in his message showed the disposition of that entity to support, to promote and to give the tools to the entrepreneurs to pave the way for innovation.
Dr. Eva Lozano Montero, organizer of the Congress undertakes Innova UG and Dr. Benito Rodríguez Haros, Director of the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences, welcomed the members of this network of networking and entrepreneurship, and invited the Assistants to contribute to the development of entrepreneurs, society and the University itself.
It is noteworthy that, for the first time, the Campus manages to link two events of international Transcendence: the 2nd International Congress Emprende Innova and the 1st International Congress on Innovation in Regional Development and Agribusiness, which will take place in the following days at the Salvatierra venue.
