Irapuato, Gto., November 7, 2018.- The teacher of the High School Irapuato (ENMS), Francisco Escárcega was awarded for his theatrical trajectory by the International Theatre Institute (ITI) of the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO).

The presentation of the recognition and medal of the theatrical merit took place in the Manuel M. Ponce hall of the Palace of Fine Arts, by the hands of Tobias Biancone, General Director of ITIUNESCO.

The recognition was given to him for his 45 years of theatrical trajectory and for the work done with young students of the ENMSI for 30 years through the university social service.

Among the activities that earned him this important recognition, he has been director of the Teatro Tlancualejo for 30 years with 76 staging; He has been in the front of theater Space Dance (TED) of the ENMSI for 30 years with 31 sets in scene. He has also been the artistic Director of the CEARTE Center for Culture and Theatrical art.

For Professor Escárcega this award is the result of the work done for years with young Irapuatenses reason why he thanks the University of Guanajuato for providing the opportunity to do this work for the benefit of the university community and the spectators.

We are treasure seekers because by educating through the theater we find a great treasure of energy that shows the concerns, desires, feelings and passions of the students. It is an activity that they enjoy because they can be titans, heroes and heroines; monsters or fairies, metamorphosis that allows them to achieve the TED group.
