San Luis de la Paz, Gto., November 6, 2018.- Professor Mario Vega Terán of the HS San Luis de la Paz joined the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico (SACM) derived from his extensive experience in music.
The SACM is a collective management Society of public interest created according to Mexican legislation in the year 2007, with organizational background since 1945 in which the Mexican Union of Authors, Composers and Music Publishers (SMACEM) was founded — with the purpose of "strengthening the link with the users of music to create a new culture in the recognition of the copyright, seeking jointly, with the society and the Government of Mexico, the proper protection of the intellectual works, as important part of the cultural heritage of the nation and as an essential element of cultural identity, thus vindicating the work of the composers as a dignified and honest profession that can be exercised by any Mexican, with the fair retribution that allows her or him to live the fruit of his inspiration. "
Professor Mario Vega Terán was born in San Luis de la Paz, Gto., on November 16, 1973, month and year in which the great Dolerense composer José Alfredo Jiménez died. At the age of 14 he entered the diocesan seminary of Celaya, where he studied high school and philosophy, receiving a musical formation that made him fall in love with music, since then he has devoted himself to studying it developing the ability to write and compose works of different genres.
Professor Mario Vega has written more than 150 songs, and recorded in various genres such as trova, boleros, ballads. In the Regional Mexican genre: Huapangos, sounds, corridos, also in Banda genre, adapting to the constant evolution demanded by the market. In Latin rhythms: salsa, cumbia, bachata, reggaeton. In children's music, following in the footsteps of Francisco Gabilondo Soler "Cri-Cri", he has used various rhythms such as blues, rock and all those that are pedagogically attractive for children carrying in each of his songs a message for the infants. In religious music, which was the first that began to compose while in the seminary, has a great variety.
He has had the opportunity to travel abroad a couple of times and has also presented his songs in various forums and TV channels of the state of Guanajuato. It is versatile to compose and to play, since it can interpret in the acoustic guitar romantic boleros, as well as merry flamenco rumbas; and on the electric guitar some rock, jazz or blues. In the piano he continues preparing to be a worthy representative of his beloved land San Luis de la Paz, and his very loved state of Guanajuato; so in his broad repertoire cannot miss the songs for Mexico, Guanajuato, San Luis de la Paz; For his father Antonio (+), his mother Maria Concepción, his wife Marisol and children Mariela and Mario Iván; his five brothers: María Luisa, José Antonio, Audberto, Víctor Armando (+) and Magdalena, as well as songs for all their loves in which the institutions where they belong are entered.
The teacher, who works at the school since 2014, has been a promoter of the Rondalla de la ENMS San Luis de la Paz in which he transmits to his students, confidence and supports them to develop their musical skills.
