León, Gto., November 13, 2018.- In order to share the trajectory of the graduates of the University of Guanajuato (UG), Campus León held a series of lectures on skills and competencies for working life by Edgar Barroso and Frida Xiomara Reyes Velázquez.

First, Edgar Barroso's turn, who graduated of the Bachelor of Music, received his doctorate from Harvard University and is currently associate professor at the School of Government and Public Transformation of the Tecnológico de Monterrey where he serves as Director of the Entrepreneurship and Transformation Laboratory.

During his lecture he communicated to the audience his passion for music, pride and the pleasant experiences he experienced during his period as a college student; he shared his Horizons architecture model, which is a process for designing, planning and building projects, companies and even public policies.

In the architecture of horizons are considered variables such as complexity, time, legacy, creativity, technology, context, projects, in turn mentioned the close relationship for all who undertake, between civil society, academia, private initiative and government.

He urged those present, especially young people to value time, not to make differences between one generation and another, because for him a generation represents those people who share time and space, regardless of whether they are listed as before or after the millennials; he also invited them to create legacies in everything they do, through a meaningful construction of relationships and trust in others.

In an interview, the musician and composer said that his main interest in imparting this talk is "to share, to think about the future that we want to build in the next 10 years either in Guanajuato or in the country, is a future that we must build all."

He added that it is essential that "we all feel that public problems, those that haunt us, require a solution, no matter if you studied engineering or humanities or any other degree, what matters in the end is to put the talent in the service of others to create public value."

On the second day of activities participated Frida Xiomara Reyes Velázquez graduate of the educational program of culture and art, in this space the young person narrated with the public the activities carried out during his university training, as well as his thesis work based on photography of the basic level of education and its experience in studying the mastery of communication in science and culture.

Frida Xiomara is president of Blue Science, a civil association of divulging art-science, also serves as a high school teacher and advises youth research projects.

At the HS Centro Histórico León she served as a teacher of extracurricular activities and coordinator of the Jane Goodall science Club. During her intervention she recommended the students present to apply to all the calls that are possible, never stop to wonder and learn.

This cycle of lectures was carried out through the liaison coordination of Campus León, activities that will continue the following year in order to gather and share the talent of the community of alumni of the beehive.
