Guanajuato, Gto., November 15, 2018.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) received the visit of a delegation from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD) of Paris, France, with the purpose to stipulate an academic collaboration agreement.
This is the second visit that EnsAD representatives make to the university, this time they proposed the possibility to establish a cooperation in the programs of Digital Arts, Visual Arts and Architecture, offered at Campus Irapuato-Salamanca and Guanajuato.
Aurelie Zita, overseer of the International Relationships of EnsAD and personnel of International Relationships and Academic Collaboration of UG, led by their Director Dr. Elis Roberto Ledesma Orozco, agreed that they could start working in a framework agreement to work together in favor of the students of both institutions.
The Coordinator of the Program of Digital Arts of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, Dr. José Armando Pérez Crespo, referred to the academic parallelisms between UG and the French institution, hence he considers this collaboration to be important.
It is important to mention that EnsAD opened its doors in 1767 and currently has 10 specialization branches. Has established many alliances with great foreign institutions of art and design, close-up cultural institutions and innovative companies.
In addition, in 2007 they created the Research laboratory EnsADLAB which comprises seven programs led by professors of decorative arts, and where external speakers of great prestige participate.
