Tierra Blanca, Gto., November 15, 2018.- With the purpose to bring the science and technology generated at the University of Guanajuato (UG) and encourage the liaison of the college students to their environment; the Direction of Support for Research and Postgraduate (DAIP), through the Programs of Divulgation and Communication "eUGreka: tu conecte con la cience", held the eUGreka festival.

Promoting the social appropriation of science in sectors commonly far from academic knowledge, workshops were conducted which addressed topics of the training fields: Chemistry, biology, geology, mathematical thinking and communication.

This led to bring to the children the scientific topics that contribute to their integral formation, favouring the development of basic competencies such as: Linguistic communication, mathematical reasoning, knowledge and interaction with the physical world and Natural, digital and information-processing competence, autonomy and personal initiative, of coexistence and citizenship, of artistic appreciation and expression.
