Guanajuato, Gto., November 23, 2018.- With eight editorial presentations, seven releases and the launch of a digital publication, the University of Guanajuato (UG) is present again in the most important book fair of Spanish America.
UG's editorial offers considers the editorial production of the academic community that answered the second institutional summon to sell publications by consignment in the "Librería UG" bookstore and in the book fairs where it has presence. This time, the stand of the university is double its size than previous years (the rented space comprehends 18 sq. m).
All the editorial presentation will be held in the space of the Guanajuato Fund, Stand J18 in the national area. They will begin Saturday November 24 with the book "Constelaciones y campos de fuerza en la teoría crítica actual", a co-edition of UG and Eón Editions, compiled by Dr. Javier Corona. Later, the same day, they'll present "Formas del capital. Origen de la desigualdad de oportunidades para acceder a la educación superior", by the Ph.Ds. at DCEA: Martha Leticia Guevara-Sanginés and Ariadna Crisantema Martínez Hernández.
The second day, Sunday November 25th, there will be three presentations. The book by Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, Ph.D., and Benjamín Valdivia: "La ley y las palabras."
"Una aproximación al Derecho y la Literatura", will be presented at noon by Carlos Ulises Mata and the coordinator of the University Editorial Program, Elba Sánchez Rolón.
As a premiere, they will make the official launch, posthumous way, of the electronic book: "Los modelos educativos en México: una perspectiva histórica-sociológica" by José de Jesús Trueba Dávalos, at 16hrs.
At 20hrs they will present the collection "Editorial Fund", facsimile edition of four works of outstanding published writers by the Editorial of the University of Guanajuato in the era of Margarita Villaseñor: Prosa de José Gorostiza, El tigre en la casa de Eduardo Lizalde, Actitudes de Tomás Segovia & Cuaderno de escritura by Salvador Elizondo. Participants: Elba Sánchez Rolón and the collection's coordinator, Daniel Ayala Bertoglio.
Monday, November 26th at 18hrs, the numbers 15 and 16 (Reyes and Novo) of the Small Gallery of the Spanish American Writer –produced by the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities, Campus Guanajuato—, will be presented by Dr. Asunción Rangel, collection's coordinator and Dr. Anuar Jalife Jacobo, author of the book dedicated to Novo. Both scholar at the department of Spanish Letters, venue Valenciana.
Tuesday, November 27th, the word of Ángel Ortuño, poet from Guadalajara, with "Gas lacrimógeno y otras cosas que no son poemas", title of the collection "Crocodiles" published by the University Editorial Program.
Finally, on Friday, November 30th at 20hrs, they'll present number 14 of the magazine edited by the Division of Law, Politics and Government: Legal Science, publication by renowned scholars of the Department of Law.
These and other publications will be for sale at the stand of the University of Guanajuato, located in the national area, stand K24.
