
Salamanca, Gto., December 4, 2018.- "Travel to Addictions" is an interactive experience in which the college students of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca campus participated in a simulation on the effects of different drugs, to sensitize them to the risks of consumption of these substances and their consequences.
In a joint work between the Student Development Directorate and its counterparts on the Campus, the Student Society of the Engineering division and the Psychologists' Association, Lectures and Addiction prevention workshops were held.
Like the student community, Campus and engineering division managers took the tour of the stands that showed the health damage caused by cigars, marijuana, methamphetamines, cocaine, alcohol, by young people who They supported to expose the topics, explained the psychologist Erandi Solorio Farfán, responsible for educational development at the Salamanca venue.
This activity was framed in the program "UG da Salud" which included a lecture by master Reyna Guadalupe Martínez Zavala, health coordinator attached to the Student Development Directorate, who mentioned that health promotion is a topic Studied in the last 20 years, which allowed to identify the need to carry out an intervention in the education.
