
Guanajuato, Gto., March 4, 2019.- At Guanajuato Campus of the University of Guanajuato (UG) was presented the most recent number of the Mexican magazine on political analysis and public management (REMAP), in the framework of the X Philosophical Research Colloquium "Contrapuntos" (Counterpoints).
During the presentation, held in the "María Elena Morales" Auditorium of the Language Department, Dr. Jesús Ramírez Macías, a graduate from the master's in Philosophy and professor of the Department of Political Studies, thanked all the participants in this magazine that seeks to "leave a mark of effort, modest but franc" to contribute so the disciplines of public management and political science advance and consolidate through the multidisciplinary cooperation, now with field of philosophy, he mentioned.
These are efforts that emerge from the shadows of shared concerns, he said, while presenting the content of the magazine, which has as a guest author, Ignacio Mendiola Gonzalo, and this time, is composed by three reviews, two essays and the dossier "biopolitics, segregation and government in the management of cities and territories."
In the dossier, the collaborators are: Emmanuel Guerrero Trejo with the subject "el dispositivo frontera"; Nubia Cortés and Jorge Vélez with the subject "la magia de la gubernamentalidad: el caso de los pueblos mágicos en México"; Vicente Ugalde with "los dispositivos discretos de cumplimiento de reglas legales"; Guillermo Andrés Vega with "la ciudad como diagrama de las artes liberals de gobierno en la lectura foucalteana del nacimiento del gobierno económico de la población."
Likewise, Adán Salinas wrote "estrategias de gobierno, espacios de desregulación y posiciones de conflicto. Urbanismo y enfoque gubernamental"; while José de Jesús Ramírez and Cuauhtémoc Nattahí Hernández wrote the article "aproximaciones espaciales a la biopolítica y la gubernamentalidad en clave territorial".
The essays, Francisco Cabrera Hernández and Maria Elena Pérez, wrote about "autonomía de gestión para la calidad y equidad educativa: una evaluación del programa escuelas de calidad (PEC)" and Antonio Silverio Martínez wrote about "el derecho humano de defensa técnica en el sistema de responsabilidades administrativas como parte del sistema nacional anticorrupción en México."
The reviews where written by Emanuel Guerrero Trejo "mitología de la seguridad." The biopolitical city by Andrea Cavalletti; Maria Gómez with "la profesionalización legislativa en México." "Evidencias en Congresos estatales y el Congreso Federal" by Fernando Patrón and Ofelia Camacho; and finally, Maria Emilia Perri wrote about "mujeres en la política. Experiencias nacionales y subnacionales en América Latina" by Flavia Freidenberg, Mariana Caminotti, Betilde Muñoz-Pogossian & Tomás Dosek (editors).
From REMAP magazine, Dr. Cuauhtémoc Nattahí Hernández Martínez, Coordinator of the master's degree in Philosophy mentioned that this is a semi-annual publication created by UG through the Division of Politics and Government (DDPG) and from its Departments of Political and Government Studies, and Public Management.
The director of the magazine is Dr. Fernando Patrón Sánchez and the chief editor is Dr. Fernando Barrientos del Monte. The latter highlighted that UG and many professors of the Philosophy Department and the Education Department, were judges of the articles; in addition of having the participation of a master's degree student, Emmanuel Guerrero Trejo.
