Guanajuato, Gto., March 6, 2019.- Dr. Francisco Javier Álvarez Torres, professor at the University of Guanajuato (UG) in the Division of Natural and Exact Sciences (DCNE), will be one of the speakers at the International conference EdmodoCon México 2019, which will take place in Puebla, on March 20 and 21.

EdmodoCon is a virtual platform with more than 85 million users around the world and is used in more than 400,000 schools. The conference is the most important virtual event of international education that is held annually, although this will be the first time it is developed in Latin America.

Dr. Francisco Javier Álvarez will participate with a paper on the future of the university, it is estimated that the Conference is assisted by approximately 700 teachers in person and more than 5000 in a virtual way.

The teacher of the UG, who studied the doctorate in Administrative sciences at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (UAA), will share his experience using technology to improve learning and communication in academia.

It is worth mentioning that last year Dr. Alvarez Torres won the best paper award in the 4th. International Congress of Faculties and business schools of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL).

The foregoing, at the work table, in which he exhibited "the analysis of entrepreneurial orientation by means of structural equations in small and medium-sized Guanajuatenses enterprises the leather-footwear sector", which he exhibited in conjunction with his advisor of PhD thesis, Dr. Gabriela Citlalli López Torres.
