She commented that in her research work has been addressed issues related to the indigenous population in the city of León, as she has investigated the cultural practices of the population of communities registered in the Register of indigenous communities in the state of Guanajuato (San Miguel de Allende and Comonfort).

In an interview, she emphasized that "important part is to make known this cultural and linguistic richness from anthropology, because from certain theories and from a very specific approach and methodological approximation-the daily coexistence with these populations-we have been able to account for their wealth, their characteristics, also their shortcomings and difficulties.

In this sense, she said that the regions of indigenous concentration in the state of Guanajuato is observed mainly in the Northwest zone in which are located Chichimeca, Jonaz and Otomi communities; In the industrial-commercial zone of the center is settled population Purépecha, Nahua, Mazahua, Otomi, Mixteca and Tzeltal; While in the tourist centre-north area are Mixteca, Otomi, Zeltal and Huichol communities; In the case of the municipality of León the settled indigenous population comes mainly from the state of Michoacán, Oaxaca, State of Mexico, Guerrero and Veracruz.

Lastly, she noted that "Guanajuato compared to other states such as the South has in fact a portion in minimum percentage terms of indigenous population, less than one percent".

It should be noted that the interested parties will be able to attend the sessions or take a virtual course that includes five modules in which they will have to review the videos of the lectures, carry out the readings and reinforcement activities with which they are given a record of participation.
