
Guanajuato, Gto., March 22, 2019.- During the presentation of the book "A Century of Municipal legislation in Guanajuato 1918-2018" by Dr. Armando Sandoval Pierres, the university professor was given a recognition of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the agency OXFAM "for his invaluable contributions as a music teacher and philanthropist, which has benefited the youth of this country, which qualifies him as an exceptional human being."
In a ceremony presided over by Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendon Huerta Barrera, rector of the Guanajuato Campus of the University of Guanajuato (UG), he presented himself to the book compiling municipal organic laws in the period 1918 to 2018, an event in which he gave the Acknowledged Dr. Sandoval, professor of the Division of Law, Politics and government (DDPG).

In her speech, Dr. Rendon Huerta Barrera, celebrated the publication of the book and the thematic of this, which abridges the municipal legislation over 100 years and reveals important elements for the knowledge of the institutional history of the local government to from its legislative sources.
He noted that this book gathers Municipal Organic Laws from 1918 to 2018 and, before the text of each law, is an introductory study of great utility for specialists, in addition to exposing social and political environments; so he celebrated the construction of a text of this nature not only by the effort of compilation, but by the enormous window that opens for the knowledge of the municipal institution in the state.
In the same way he was congratulated because this publishing house sees the light in a fortunate coincidence that the author has been granted the recognition given by the international UNICEF as a permanent body of the UN and OXFAM, which is an international confederation Composed of 17 non-governmental organizations that perform humanitarian work in 90 countries, a distinction that has been given to other great philanthropists, including the conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
There are those who not only put the best of their effort in their work, but his heart, said the rector of the Campus Guanajuato, "transform the life of those who have less, with a singular generosity that does not fit in a society so narrow," as is the case of Dr. Sandoval , who spends a good part of their paycheck to help the students.

For his part, Dr. Armando Sandoval Pierres, professor of the Department of Law, professor of various subjects of degree and postgraduate in the departments of Law, studies of culture and society, music, history and arts, thanked all his presence and Accompaniment in the presentation of his book, in particular to Dr. Teresita Rendon Huerta, for all the support and motivation in this compilation of sources for study of the municipality.
