Guanajuato, Gto., a 25 de marzo de 2019.- Authorities of the University of Guanajuato (UG) welcomed a delegation consisting of eight students and two teachers from the Lycée Sainte Marguerite de Chambray – Les, Tours, who made a short stay as part of an agreement between the High School College (CNMS) and the French institution.
In welcoming the French delegation, the President of the UG, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, said that an academic exchange project at the middle level has a great meaning for people, but also for institutions and Countries.
Because the stay is aimed at perfecting the learning of Spanish and exchanging knowledge and experiences related to water care, Dr. Guerrero pointed out that this topic represents for UG a strategic theme within the task Academic and in relation to good environmental practices, "we have much to learn from France."
For his part, the Director of CNMS, Dr. J. Merced Rizo Carmona, said that this experience strengthens the training of teachers and students, so it carries academic and scientific benefits, but also strengthens the bonds of brotherhood with France.
On behalf of the French delegation, Professor Marge Dallier thanked those who make this cultural immersion program possible, he recalled that it is the second time they have a stay in Guanajuato and this visit will deepen in a project related to water care.
It is important to remember that the CNMS has academic exchange agreements with the Lycée Sainte Marguerite in Chambray-Lès-Tours and that of Saint Joseph in Vendôme, which are intended to expand the opportunities for students of those institutions and the University of Guanajuato.
These are part of the CNMS internationalization project, which also offers its student community the possibility to make stays in institutions in the United States and Japan.
In the Welcome to students of the French Lyceum were also present students of the CNMS who serve as hosts and who in turn will make a stay in France; As well as the academic secretary of the UG, Dr. Sergio Silva Muñoz.
