Celaya, Gto., March 29, 2019.- The General coordinator of the ecosystem of liaison, innovation, development and knowledge application of the University of Guanajuato (VIDA UG), Dr. Jesús Martínez Patiño, held a meeting with members of the Association of Entrepreneurship presided by its chairman, Ismael Pérez Ordaz, with the aim of showing them the program "Citizenship UG-Business" of the University of Guanajuato.

At the meeting, which was possible thanks to the support of Lic. Ernesto G. Usabiaga Reynoso Ex-patron of the UG, the entrepreneurs were explained the approach of citizenship UG, which is a program of stewardship and its fundamental perspective is prevention, having as Purpose to influence the improvement of social coexistence through 5 axes that are self-care culture, culture of legality, artistic appreciation, interest in science and action for the environment.

In addition, it was commented that through this program are generated bonds of social responsibility to benefit foreign students of scarce resources belonging to the regional equity program, so they can continue their studies.

Dr. Martínez pointed out that this is the result of having a link with the business sector for the creation of shared value, in which benefits are generated in an integral way for the companies, their collaborators and their families, as well as students from the program of Regional equity, and in turn to non-profit teachers and students.

He emphasized that "Citizenship UG-Business" has the purpose of improving the working environments, by imparting diverse workshops with themes that contribute to the construction of a fair society, responsible and committed with its environment, in addition to generating the development Of the business sector through the impulse to human capital, to provoke in the workers a greater sense of collaboration and belonging in the company, and that they have access to the education, the culture and the knowledge.

Finally, Dr. Jesús Martínez Patiño, thanked the businessmen for the space to talk about this program and invited them to join this great project that has the University of Guanajuato, with the sole aim of young Guanajuatenses of very remote parts Of the state can continue to study, stressing that the Regional equity program has changed lives of both students and their families.
