Tierra Blanca, Gto., April 3, 2019.- Students of the Northeast Interdisciplinary Center of the University of Guanajuato (CINUG) obtained the first, second and third place in the form of poster of concluded research, for their work presented in the XXI Journeys of Nursing based in the South University Center of the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG).

César Iván Aguilar Yáñez and María Juana González Hernández obtained the first place with their work "level of anxiety before the death in elderly in a situation of loneliness"; the second place was for the students Reyna de los Ángeles Puente Ramírez and María Guadalupe Pacheco Rico with their research "importance of early stimulation in fine motor development during early childhood" and the third place was awarded to Cecilia García Duarte and Orlando Gerardo Rivera Guerrero with their work "ability to adapt and cope with the family of people with chronic renal failure".

The professor of the CINUG and advisor of these investigations, M.C.E. Jorge Emmanuel Mejía Benavides, indicated that the works were carried out from August of 2018 as part of the subjects of research I and II, working with settlers of three communes of the Northeast of the state for the development of research that is based on the different models and theories of nursing and its applications.

All the work done by students of the eighth semester of the program of the degree in nursing and obstetrics are supported in the practice and the necessities of the Northeast region, covering populations like Torrecitas, Doctor Mora and Tierra Blanca.

In the framework of the conferences, the students attended the lectures, workshops offered and participated as speakers in the III Forum of scientific dissemination of nursing care, presenting their research work carried out during the last year.

"It is of paramount importance to the CINUG and to the University of Guanajuato that the students disseminate the knowledge generated in scientific events so that it does not remain alone in the classroom, that this serves as example and motivation for future generations," commented the professor University.
