
Guanajuato, Gto., April 25, 2019.- The graduate of PhD in Chemistry from the University of Guanajuato (UG), Dr. Pradip Dhanaraj Nahide is a leading researcher who has focused his efforts on the studies of catalysis in organic chemistry. During the doctoral period he worked on an article that was recently accepted in the Journal of the American Chemical Society (ACS Catalysis), one of the most prestigious publications in his area.
The graduate commented that UG gave him different tools to grow in his postgraduate studies in chemistry which were advised by the professor and researcher Dr. César Solorio.
Thanks to the financing obtained by the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) In addition to the financing of the Directorate of Support for Research and postgraduate (DAIP) of the University of Guanajuato itself made a research stay in the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he worked with Professor Marisa Kozlowski. Both the research carried out at the University of Guanajuato and the one carried out at the University of Pennsylvania were the support for the publication in ACS magazine.
Dr. Pradip Dhanaraj Nahide mentioned that studying at the University of Guanajuato was a great experience and that the Department of Chemistry gave him all the facilities to devote himself to investigate, thanked the support he had of his advisor Dr. César Solorio To finish his doctoral thesis and thus open more opportunities in his academic development.
