Guanajuato, Gto., May 29, 2019.- Professors of the University of Guanajuato (UG) and a college student participated in the XL National meeting of the AMIDIQ (Mexican Academy of Research and Teaching in chemical engineering, A.C.), under the thematic "challenges of the chemical engineering for the National development ".

It should be noted that the team received recognition to the best cartel in the area of simulation and control/process engineering with the work titled "Hydrodynamic Study of the adsorption of chromium VI in a column packed with alumina in CFD".

This is Dr. Beatriz Eugenia Rubio Campos and I.Q. Nallely Yunuen Rubio Campos, teachers of the high school Guanajuato; Samantha Murrieta Escoto a student of the degree in chemical engineering; as well as Dr. Edilberto Murrieta Luna, professor of the higher level, who participated as speakers in the congress that had as headquarters Bahías de Huatulco, Oax.

Dr. C.I.Q. Beatriz Eugenia Rubio Campos commented that having participated in this Conference "was of great learning because it generates a space for the exchange of ideas in a multidisciplinary environment in the different areas of chemical engineering; It also allowed us to reflect on the advances based on science, technology and innovation, with a sustainable approach, that cater to the problems and social needs of Mexico, always emphasizing that the collaborative work brings excellent results ".

She acknowledged that "sharing my experience in the classroom will help to discover the new scientific vocations that can solve the problems of our immediate environment".

While I.Q. Nallely Yunuen Rubio Campos mentioned "It is the first time I attend the AMIDIQ and it was a very good experience, especially learning, because I was able to know new ideas for the research that I will perform in my master's studies, mainly, in the environmental area that I want to work on.

Samantha Murrieta Escoto, a student of the first semester of The Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, said she participated "in projects with Dr. Bety and Doctor Edilberto when he studied high school. Attending this Congress was very interesting because I opened the panorama in the field of research and realize that the skills acquired in the classroom always apply. "

Finally, Dr. Edilberto Murrieta Luna mentioned that it was a very pleasant experience to participate in this congress as a work adviser, colleague and partner in the work team. It is always interesting to know the proposals of our colleagues from other states and to make known their own.
