Salvatierra, Gto., June 10, 2019.- With an attendance of more than 130 students and professors, the Student Research Colloquium of the High School College (CNMS) of the University of Guanajuato (UG) was held and the venue for the event was the Salvatierra High School (ENMS).

Upon welcoming, the Mtra. Ma. Refugio Quintana Sánchez, Director of ENMS Salvatierra, was pleased for the assistance of enthusiastic students in participating with research projects in different areas of knowledge. She thanked the Directors of the 11 ENMS of the UG for their active participation and support from the higher middle-level academic community in the development of these projects.

Next, Dr. María Cristina del Rincón Castro, professor-researcher in the Division of Life Sciences of the Irapuato-Salamanca Campus, representing Dr. Mauro Napsuciale Mendivil, Director of Research and Postgraduate Support, led her message to the young people whom he invited to continue to prepare for scientific work and knowledge dissemination from the middle level; "The hotbed of our future scientists and researchers at our University is here, at these kinds of events, with you young preparatory students," he stressed.

Subsequently, Dr. J. Merced Rizo Carmona, Director of the College of the Higher Middle Level of the UG, welcomed and highlighted the work of the Research Committee and the Coordination of Support for Research and Disclosure of the CNMS in the organization and development of these kinds of academic events; He also congratulated the students who participated in the exhibition of research projects, presented in different working rooms: Experimental Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Communication, Administration, Formatives, Arts.

At the closing, the conclusions of each of the rooms in which, thanks to professors who served as moderators and rapporteurs, results relevant to the scientific and research work were obtained as part of the comprehensive development of high school students.

At the event were present: Dr. Graciela María de la Luz Ruiz Aguilar, Rector of the Celaya-Salvatierra Campus; Dr. Jesús Raúl Lugo Martínez, Academic Secretary of CNMS and Pas. Mat. Mr. Rodolfo Ferro Pérez, who served as a keynote speaker with the theme "Artificial Intelligence in Modern Times".
