
Guanajuato, Gto., October 14, 2015.- Luis Herman Miranda, a graduate from the University of Guanajuato UG, amazed the public at the "43 Festival Internacional Cervantino" (FIC for its acronym in Spanish) with his talent and precise technique at the piano.
He gave a concert at the General College Council Hall within the FIC activities. Since the beginning, the young pianist stated that constancy and discipline are key in the performance of a musician, because through these you can achieve an excellent interpretation –as Luis Herman did—from great composers plays.
Enthusiast listeners filled the enclosure and let themselves be captive by the piano sonatas No. 14 and 21 from the famous composer, orchestra director and German pianist, Ludwig Van Beethoven (1770-1827).
Exhibiting his piano domain, the UG graduate, continued with a musical route moving to Mexican music, and played "Toccata and fugue on a Händel theme" from the outstanding composer from our country, Manuel M. Ponce (1882-1948).
He continued playing a contemporary play "Sonata No. 2" from the Mexican musician Federico Ibarra (1946). Then, Luis Herman interpreted "Estudio No. 3, La Campanella" from the famous Hungarian composer Franz Liszt (1811-1886).
Because of the public's response who extended their applause for the pianist, he then decided to give two more pieces for the listeners, a play from Robert Schumman (1810-1856) and another one from Franz Liszt.
Touched, Luis Herman Miranda thanked the presence of who assisted and mentioned that all forms of support give him the strength and motivation to continue studying and preparing to follow his career as pianist.
It is important to mention that Luis Herman Miranda is a pianist from Guanajuato. Born in 1989 and began his studies at age 5. He specialized in concerts in the University of Guanajuato with the Master Adriana Martínez and in artistic perfecting under the tutelage of the Master José Manuel Sandoval.
