Guanajuato, Gto., November 6, 2015.- The publication from the Department of Philosophy from the Division of Social Sciences and Human Studies from the University of Guanajuato, presented the "Almanaque Literario 1". Text that seeks the inclusion of the college community in the critic analysis of the process of social decay, but not a "politically correct, that leaves things how they are, but take them as far as possible" critic.

That is what the Director of the Division of Social Sciences and Human Studies from Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Aureliano Ortega Esquivel, who together with the rector from Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, they lead the presentation of the first in a series of three books that propose the knowledge and discussion of a series of considerations "on contemporary craziness":

And, about what the intellectuals would say, sentenced Dr. Ortega who acknowledged that even him doesn't like to use that term, because of the discredit in which people have fell, apparently critics, accomplices of the factual powers. That is why they seek to open spaces for the "virulent, spicy, to-not-create-public, but spaces for thought and face what is coming with humor" interlocution.

In an opportunity, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, rector from Campus Guanajuato, reminded that since 2008, the group of college students began gathering and begin conceiving several editorial projects because if there is someone who reads and criticizes, said, in such form the University of Guanajuato must be a forum of projection.

Essays, manifests, and proclamations exposed in the book "Almanaque Literario 1", are the result of many encounters along Latin America. The project emerged from a talk between Christopher Britt and Eduardo Subirats, who agreed in that something has to be done to escape from the "sterilizing" academicism. At UG, the project was crystallized organizationally with Dr. Javier Corona and Dr. Aureliano Ortega.

In the almanac, you can read "An age of destruction" from Eduardo Subirats. "Obscene absence" chapter where, among others, Rafael de Jesús Araujo González writes about "Obscene politics and intellectuals". Michel Suárez Escobio on "The consecration of nothing". Jorge Maifud Albernaz on "Neo-medievalism". André Cechinel on "The criticism as a formula". Christopher Britt Arredondo on "Intellectuals and idiots". Álvaro Álvarez on "Useless expert, idiot specialist or both?

In addition, the topic "Obscenity from the media intellectual" is developed by Dr. Aureliano Ortega Esquivel. Dr. Javier Corona Fernández developed the topic "Society of knowledge or society of foolishness?". Sven Merzbach and Rosario Castellanos developed "The work of the intellectuals in times crisis". Antonio Durán Ruíz and José Martinez developed "The mission of the intellectual". The third chapter carries the topic "Spain, take this chalice away from me!" and the fourth "Recensions".
