Guanajuato, Gto., November 6, 2015.- To encourage the collaboration among divulgers in the state, and create and exchange of experiences of the science that develops in Guanajuato; the first divulgation colloquium of science and technology was created and will present 53 research works.

The event occurred in the Magnum Spaces from the Division Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA) from Campus Guanajuato, where the Academic Secretary, Dr. Jose Luis Lucio Martínez was in representation of the general rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino. The academic secretary highlighted the diffusion of science and technology generates a scientific culture.

The State Network of Divulgation and Teaching of Science and Technology (REDECYT for its acronym in Spanish) from the State of Guanajuato organized this colloquium. This network formed two years ago and is composed by 119 partners that work in 7 civil associations, 3 governmental organisms, 5 companies. 4 research centers, 2 museums, a communication media and 21 educative institutions in the state.

The expectation for this activity is that from the works presented in this colloquium, new ideas and collaborations emerge among people with specific activities, where they can add other researchers or divulgers.

Dr. Lucio Martínez expressed that the objective of divulgation of sciences is attract youth to scientific majors and have right to the information processes, debate and decision.

In her intervention, the secretary from REDECYT in Guanajuato, M. Lourdes Patiño Barba, highlighted that this networks functions as a space to intersect ideas, disciplines, focus, knowledge, visions, experiences and diverse stories.

M. Patiño Barba delved that it is a society integrated by people with the purpose to generate changes and a creative systems that seeks to generate in the public, new ways to see, understand and participate in the world, based on science and critical thought.

She added that REDECYT from Guanajuato and synergies and encourages collectively constructed learning with the riches of the diversity that converges among the society.

Likewise, in the presentation from the engineer Eusebio Vega Pérez, secretary of education in Guanajuato, we found the sub secretary of high and higher education M. José Abel Arteaga Sánchez, he pointed out the importance of thinking the role of how society gets involved with science.

M. Arteaga Sánchez manifested the contribution of youth and companies to provide solutions to local problems influence positively to improve the society's life conditions.

Magdalena Zárate Banda, representing the General Director from the State Council of Science and Technology from the State of Guanajuato, Dr. Antonio Vega Corona. Academic secretary from campus Guanajuato, Dr. Claudia Gutiérrez Padilla, representing the rectos from campus, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández. Head of the Department of Communication and Divulgation of Science, M. Gloria Eugenia Magaña Cota, representing the director of Support to research and post graduate from UG, Dr. Mauro Napsuciale Mendivil.
