In an interview, Luilli Andrea Cruces said that with this exhibit, she seeks to generate thought "on how to eradicate the great problematic we have today by stereotyping people, conflict generated by many factors, some of them are the mass media like television or social networks".

"My piece consists in an installation that covers the stereotype subject, that is why I called it "Stereotypes, nothing is what it seems. Eight photos construct this piece and they portray people who are commonly stereotyped, especially by matters of sexual orientation, economic position, some disability, and etcetera", mentioned the student.

Equally, she explained that these images will be mapped to illuminate the faces, and so, different voices from the photographers will be heard. "In that way, the spectator can interact with the piece, as if they were talking to the stereotypes, creating a virtual reality".

Luilli Andrea Cruces Vázquez is currently a student from the Master degree in Arts from the University of Guanajuato and for the second time, she will participate in the project "Posh", an international festival of cultural expressions from artists that compose the new generations.

In its eighth edition, project "Posh", will occur from November 11 to 15 this year. The student from UG mentioned that her work was selected from a national summon, in which her discipline –digital art—participated 100 emerging artists, from where only 20 were selected.

To finalize, she mentioned that the University of Guanajuato has given her the necessary tools in her formation as artist, because in the bachelor degree she could learn several techniques regarding digital arts, for example photography, video edition, 2D & 3D animation, and web design just to mention some.

It is important to mention that the "Posh" project 2015, is an open forum for independent artists in the literary, scenic, plastic, audiovisual and musical arts, that comprehend a series of events for all public and nonprofit.
