
León, Gto. November 10, 2015.- Students from the Bachelor degree in Sciences of the Physical Activity and Health from Campus Leon from the University of Guanajuato perform important research works with the purpose to contribute countries like Mexico, Spain and Brazil in the care, self-knowledge and development of physical health.
The titles from this works are "Evaluación de la aptitud física entre futbolistas de México y Brasil" (Evaluation of the physical aptitude among footballers from Mexico and Brazil) in charge of Martín Horta Méndez. "analisis de los niveles plasmáticos de Orexina A en adultos jovenes del sexo masculino" (Analysis if the plasma levels of Orexin A in young male adults) from Omar Espinoza Cruz. "Estudio comparativo del nivel morfo funcionalidad en universitarios de México y España" (Comparative study of the morpho-functionality in college students in Mexico and Spain), in charge of Vanessa Cadengo Ramos. It is important to mention that these three young students are the first to receive a degree in this study program.
The bachelor degree of Sciences of the Physical Activity and Health was approved before the College Council of the Campus on May 28, 2010 and offered by the first time for the period August – December in 2010.
This educative program is renowned in national and international institutions and some if the students are sent to academic stays in the "Centro de Estudos do Laboratório de Aptidäo Física de Säo Caetano do Suí" in Brazil, the University of Granada, Spain and Saginaw Valley State University of Michigan.
The students participate actively in improving the quality of life in people with chronic degenerative diseases, in special populations and groups of athletes.
Currently, the sixth generation of the bachelor degree entered, and in next August, they expect the seventh generation.
