Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino acknowledged the effort and dedication from all the college community – professors, students, administrative and support personnel—that compose the areas in Spanish Letters and Philosophy, and because of their hard work and effort, these bachelor degrees have the prestige and efficiency to reattribute the society with outstanding professionals.
COAPEHUM has the objective to evaluate and accredit the educational processes from the programs in human studies from Higher Education Institutions (IES) by recognizing their role in the formation of critic, creative, responsible and competent college students.
"When we speak of evaluation, we also speak democratization, in this case of human studies, because it is a fact of account rendition and processes based in self-trust. When we are evaluated, we have the opportunity that several experts give different insights on our strengths, but they also give reference points to improve", mentioned the general rector from UG.
On his behalf, the rector from Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Javier Corona, highlighted that the accreditation confirms the good function of the programs in Spanish Letters and Philosophy. At the same time, he indicated that the evaluation triggered an auto-critic with the purpose to optimize the educative services from Campus Guanajuato.
Likewise, the director from the Division of Social Sciences and Human studies, Dr. Aureliano Ortega, congratulated professors, students, support personnel and directors of department that contributed on completing the accreditation.
At the end, COAPEHUM's president distinguished the quality of the programs in the University of Guanajuato with which channels the students in becoming future professionals in human studies so they can address –with responsibility and commitment—the country's social and educative demands.
