Guanajuato, Gto., a 14 de noviembre de 2015.- Four educative postgraduates from the University of Guanajuato (UG) receive national recognition for belonging to the consolidates level of the National Program of Quality Postgraduates (PNPC for its acronym in Spanish),
As a result from the "Evaluación de Programas Aprobados, Convocatoria de Renovación 2015", (Evaluation of Approved programs, Renewal Summon 2015), where UG degrees have the national recognition because of the pertinence and impact in the formation of high level human resources, as well as for the academic productivity and the collaboration with other sectors in society.
One of the benefits of belonging to any of the PNPC levels, is having the recognition from the Secretary of Public Education (SEP for its acronym in Spanish) and the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT for its acronym in Spanish) in the educative programs for their academic quality.
Moreover, allow obtaining scholarships for full time students that take the academic programs registered in the presence modality such as mix scholarships for students in programs registered in the PNPC in any modality and post doctorate scholarships for graduates of programs in the PNPC.
The master degree in Sciences (Biology) prepares high academic level professionals in several areas of modern biology so they have the capability to participate in activities that require a solid biological formation and teams of professionals that contribute in the solution of scientific and vanguard technological problems.
The doctorate in Medical Sciences forms researchers that design, organize, implement and evaluate inherent projects to biomedical problems of basic, clinic and epidemiologic kinds in different disciplines from the area of health, strengthening research in the institutions.
The master degree in Spanish American Literature has the purpose to widen, channel and critically question, and at the same time obtain the specialized knowledge on the problems and theoretic or critical focuses on Spanish American literature, as well as the deep comprehension of problems and topics of narrative, poetry, and Spanish American essays from century XX until today.
Finally, the doctorate in Philosophy provides the formative conditions and elements that allow the student to perform original research in one of the contemplated areas in the program with the finality that when obtaining the degree, the student can develop fluently as researcher in his competence area, as well as in the national and international ambience.
