Guanajuato, Gto., November 17,  2015. The professorship "José Revueltas" of philosophy and literature from the University of Guanajuato strengthens the relationship with the "Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos del Perú and with other Latin American universities through the participation that will have in the "Jornadas de Literatura Peruana y Latinoamericana" (Days of Peruvian & Latin American Literature) that will take place next November 19 – 20 in the Andean university.

M. Rolando Álvarez Barrón, academic from the Department of Spanish Letters from the Division of Social Sciences and Human studies, will be in charge of closing the event with the conference "José Revueltas y José Maria Arguedas: de Lima a las cárceles profundas" (José Revueltas & José María Arguedas: from Lima to deep prisons). Conference that will develop some of the existent mail between both authors, who met and identified each other because their closeness with the Marxist ideology in the time; in addition, both lived imprisonment, which will give place to the comparison among "El Sexto" (The sixth), the imprisonment novel from Arguedas and "El Apando" from José Revueltas.

M. Rolando Álvarez reminded that when the signature of the adhesion to the professorship "José Revueltas" from all its international participants, it became an interest to divulge both the professorship—inaugurated in 2104—as well as the work from the Mexican writer, thinker and critic. Therefore, it is very positive that this commitment is fully completed by the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos when dedicating part of their journeys to Revueltas' work, a very popular author in Peru, but barely read.

The relationship with the University of Guanajuato with the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos goes years back, and have nourished with the visit of many Peruvian professors, but it will be optimal, said the academic, that in years to follow "the exchange among professors and students from both countries multiplies".

Next year, there is a programmed visit from Carlos García-Bedoya, one of the most important literary critics in Peru, disciple of Antonio Cornejo Polar. Also contemplated is the visit of Porfirio Mamani, Arequipa poet, currently a professor in La Sorboona.

With the participation in the Days of Peruvian and Latin American Literature, the professorship "José Revueltas" covers the objective of consolidating a research community in dialogue with the national and international environment. In such encounter, it will be sought to strengthen networks with researchers and academics from universities from Brazil, Chile and Peru, in a space open for discussion on literature and criticism generated from the reality of Latin America.
