Celaya, Gto., November 18, 2015.- Campus Celaya-Salvatierra from the University of Guanajuato will seat the "V Transversal Symposium" on life style that will happen on November 19 – 20.

This symposium will gather researchers from different educative institutions such as the Autonomous University of Nayarit, Autonomous University from the State of Hidalgo and the University of Guanajuato. They have the purpose to review the current state of lifestyle from the health and engineering point of view. This activity is aimed for the medical, engineer, nurses, nutritionists and psychologist's communities.

In the event, there will be two masterfully conferences: "Polypharmacy in the elder, a challenge for nursing? by Dr. Rogelio Sánchez Gutiérrez and "Panorama of research in health: a perspective from the University of Guanajuato" that will be taught by Dr. Nicolás Padilla Raygoza.

Likewise, fifteen papers will be presented; these are product of research, among them stand out the following: "Consumption of antihistamines for nausea and vomit in pregnant women in Spain"; "Nutritional intervention in an urban and suburban school from Celaya, Gto"; "Risk factors for hip dysplasia in infants"; "Spiritual care of the elder with chronic-degenerative illness"; "Valuation of the pulmonary function of Latin residents in Kansas City through spirometry and their relation with smoking for health care", among others.

This activity born in May 2010 as an uneasiness from Dr. Nicolás to explain the advance and impact of research on healthy lifestyle with the purpose to favor a better quality of life in the population.

It is important to mention that the organization of the symposium involves different academic bodies nominated: "Healthy lifestyle and chronicity" from the University of Guanajuato; "Community's health" from the Autonomous University of Nayarit; "Health and sickness" from the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo.

"This year we have the idea that the academic bodies from different universities get involved in the organization and extend this academic body", Dr. Nicolás Padilla indicated.
