seminario-de-ingenieria-civilCelaya, Gto., November 18, 2015.- With the purpose to broaden the knowledge in projects of execution and terminations of worksites, students from the tenth semester in civil engineering from the Division of Health Sciences and Engineering of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra from the University of Guanajuato (UG), organized the first seminar with the name "Trazando ideas construyendo soluciones" (Tracing ideas, constructing solutions).

The students showed in this seminar the challenges and opportunities of the development of civil engineering in the economic and administrative technical areas, in addition they had two masterly conferences son "Urban planning" and "Property valuation".

Different workshops such as unitary prices, SAP, photography workshop happened during workday and concluded with "Motivational cut". Simultaneously, the "Ingeolimpiada", a contest on general knowledge in civil engineering occurred.

Students had the support at all times by their professor, Silvia Tovar, who also was responsible for the event.

Rector from Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, Dr. Ma. Guadalupe Ojeda Vargas, welcomed and thanked the support given to the students from the College of Civil Engineers in Celaya.

She extended her congratulations to the civil engineering students for their work as organizers, to the professors involved in the activity and recognized the efforts of organizing an event that prospered in an achievement.

Dr. Ojeda Vargas expressed that "knocking doors, creating links and working in teams with no one's support is a great challenge and you made it. This is the beginning of your professional career; do not forget it and carry this spirit of enthusiasm to a new level, for now, enjoy your work, listen, learn and try to visualize the complex world that awaits for you to continue constructing".

Presidium was shared by M. Ana Maria Padilla Aguiree, director of the Division of Health Sciences and Engineering; Eng. Oscar Coello, president of the college of engineers in Celaya (CIE); Dr. Enrique Herrera, coordinator of the educative program of civil engineering; Eng. Carlos Teniente, pro vost from CIE; and Eng. Francisco Martínez, speaker from CIE and civil engineering professor.
