Celaya, Gto., November 17, 2015.- Campus Celaya-Salvatierra from the University of Guanajuato received the visit from Andrea Rodriguez, student from the fourth semester of the Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the "Universidad de Santo Tomás" (Colombia) located in Tunja Boyacá, who exposed topics on labor law and a controversial research of why Colombia is considered the happiest country in the world.

In this time, Andrea had the chance to share with students from the ninth semester of administration her experience in the research project that focuses in the public policies of entrepreneurship in the Sector Colombia.

Andrea's dream is to become a professional and an entrepreneur who is capable to innovate. She would like to have a business dedicated to hippotherapy, treatment that includes equestrian activities to achieve a physical, occupational or emotional improvement in people who suffer brain, mental and behavioral problems.

This agreement happened between the Department of Finance and Administration from the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences from Campus Celaya-Salvatierra and the Faculty of Business Administration from the "Universidad de Santo Tomás" in Colombia.

Regarding, Andrea's professor, Edwin Alonso talked with her about the research line both universities work at, soon the idea to participate in a stay outside her homeland, made her enthusiastic and with her family consensus prepared the necessary to travel for a couple of weeks, destiny Guanajuato, Mexico.

For Andrea is the first she lived an adventure of this kind and tried to detach from the feeling of leaving the family and school with the thought of knowing a new culture, a different form of thinking, the coexistence with other type of people and with open mind to learn the most she can in this study journey.

Once located in the city of Celaya, she did not miss the chance to know the Mexican culture, traditional food and tourist attractions from the Laja-Bajio region such as the water tower, the bridge of the nuns, the cathedral, different architectonic buildings and uncountable temples.

The above reminded her about Colombia where the predominant religion is he catholic and among the contrasts she could see were that in both countries, it was the educative system and the difference between the first ray of sun and sunset.

Among the conclusions of her work on entrepreneurship, explained, "The entrepreneurial spirit is a necessity from our society, is a philosophy, a way of thinking, acting and giving value to companies in society and in economy; if we can understand the public policies as variables that contribute to the economic development by encouraging PYMES (small and medium businesses) what we have left is not being afraid to fail and be perseverant in our dream of being an entrepreneur".

Along her research work, she performed a comparative and correlational analysis from the last seven years in the boom of PYMES in Colombia and the support in research, the creation of different networks among businesses, unions, academy and public sector to develop entrepreneurial capacities.

Andrea describes the exchange as an unforgettable experience where she fulfilled her academic objectives and pointed that "are things that work for both your personal and professional life, you feel some degree of independence and responsibility, you understand the phrase the world is full of opportunities". Likewise, she manifested that in a future she would like to participate in a joint research with students from campus.

She expressed that she takes in the academic, the opportunity to analyze her work and how they can support the research lines from professors in the campus; new ways to analyze the research; the kind of institutions and how they focus on encouraging entrepreneurism, the analysis of the health system and how Celaya is an industrialized city and its contribution to the economic development from the country. To conclude with the interview she says, "I leave thrilled of the warmth from the people and their rich culture".
