Guanajuato, Gto., November 24, 2015.- With three decades of offering a college social service and extend the cultural-artistic formation through romantic music, the "Rondalla Señorial" from the University of Guanajuato, celebrated with a concert at the UG's General Auditorium.

In the festivity program, they included the bolero "No podrás olvidar ese lugar" from T. Fernández, a song that the Rondalla played in its beginnings.

They delighted who assisted with song such as "Me acordare de ti" from Gerardo Flores, "Hoy tengo ganas de ti" from Miguel Gallardo, "A Guanajuato" from José García and "Ya lo se que tú te vas" from Juan Gabriel.

The public enjoyed the interpretations from the couplets from "Dos tipos de cuidado", from "Quien será" from Pablo Beltrán Ruiz; and could not be left out the potpourri of the memory of the Rondalla Señorial who made sing more than one at the event.

UG's General Auditorium graced with songs "Cucurrucucu paloma" from Tomás Méndez; "Cuando yo quería ser grande" de Manuel Monterrosas; "Lo pasado, pasado" from Benjamín de Jesús; "Vamos a darnos tiempo" from Alejandro Jaén Palacios; "El triste" from Roberto Cantoral; and "Mi fracaso" from Juan Gabriel.

This Rondalla born on October 28, 1985, in what used to be the Official High School of Guanajuato, currently young people from Guanajuato, students, ex-students and workers from the University of Guanajuato and public compose this aggrupation.

Rubén Cano Rocha leads this musical project. He and sixteen members joined their creativity, knowledge and musical aptitudes to develop artistic activities. They rehearse every Tuesday and Thursday from 20:00 to 22:30 hours at the Meson of San Antonio.

Likewise, the Rondalla keeps rescuing the musical themes of Mexican composers, focusing on being adapted to their style for interpretation.

Their repertoire bases on genres such as ballads, huapangos, waltzes, and boleros, without forgetting the ranchero genre; touring different forums from the cities of the state of Guanajuato and the country since they had 25 years as a group.
