Guanajuato, Gto., November 26, 2015. The Direction of Link, through the Institutional Entrepreneur Program, started the 2nd seminar "RED" of UG mentors and the 2nd Entrepreneur encounter at the Magnus Spaces from Campus Guanajuato, with the objective to promote the entrepreneur culture in the University of Guanajuato (UG).

Dr. Salvador Hernández Castro, Director of Link, after welcoming the assistants in name of the General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, commented that the research and the formation of specialized human resources have strengthen inside UG. A sample is the high number of full time professors that are in the National Researchers System (SNI). Nevertheless, right now is important, he said, that this specialized formation permeates the areas of action as the development of businesses, therefore, UG carries out actions to develop entrepreneur skills in the high and higher school professors because they are who must encourage interest in the students.

In the opening ceremony, Dr. Antonio Vega Corona, director from the Council of Science and Technology from the State of Guanajuato (CONCYTEG) was present and highlighted the importance to have a network of entrepreneurs and mentors in the state of Guanajuato.

"What we want is that technology based businesses develop, that the students have alternatives to incur in the labor world. We have very creative people and we believe that they cannot only form part of the businesses established in the state, but also generate their own, so instead of being employees they become employers and so generate more richness for the state", he exposed.

The event began with the conference "La misión del mentor antes de las Corrientes del emprendimiento y el empoderamiento" (the mission of the mentor before entrepreneurism and empowerment) taught by the lawyer Verónica Soto, president and founding partner of "10,000 Mujeres Unidas por México, AC". She shared her expertise in business mentoring aimed for women to professors and students.

Twenty-one projects will present within activities in the second Entrepreneur Encounter, fourteen from Campus Irapuato-Salamanca and seven from Campus Guanajuato. Students will have an opportunity to show their projects before professionals in the matter that will point out the strengths and fields of opportunity so at the end of the journey they can offer them to possible investors.

Judges and mentors will be the businesspersons and investors: Verónica Soto, President and founding partner of "10,000 Mujeres Unidas por México AC". Andrés Hernández, Google advisor for Latin America. Yamin Ruiz, negotiator of the cureent fund for Global Proteus and co-founder and president of Proteus International. Eduardo Knapp Hernández, responsible of the Center of Formation for Leaders and Entrepreneurs and currently, director of College Extension in the University of Celaya. José Luis Andrade, founder of the "Instituto de Mdoelado y Aceleración de Negocios" (IMAN) and co-founder of the model of entrepreneurial challenges "The Pitch®.
