Guanajuto, Gto. November 29, 2015.- The "Ballet Folklórico de la Universidad de Guanajuato (BAFUG), commemorated its 30th anniversary in the Auditorium of the State of Guanajuato with a colorful variety of culture, live music and dance quality.

The concert began with a representative stamp from Colombia as an homage to the brother country of Mexico and as part of their internationalization project by the name "Sangre mestiza, nuestra tercera raíz" (Half blood, out third root).

The first part of the program was composed by the "Danza de los Matlachines", "La Vela en el Istmo de Tehuantepec"; "Vaqueria Yucateca"; "Algarabia Norteña" that allowed the public to know the great variety that exists in our country.

In the second part, Child BAFUG stated that age has nothing to do with dancing quality, achieving an ovation from the public.

In this segment, there was the interpretation of the "Noche de Día de Muertos" from Michoacan; "Ecos de la Revolución" and "Feria de Aguascalientes".

The public enjoyed of the folklore of dancing and could do so by hearing with the musical interpretation of the Hueraman Orchestra from Silvicho Michoacán, the Folkloric Orchestra from Aguascalientes and the Northern Chorus of Guanajuato.

At the end of the program, the career BAFUG's dancer's of more than fifteen years was recognized and Alejandro Cordero Vázquez received a recognition for its 28 years of participating with the Folkloric Ballet from UG.

It is important to recognize the work from the staff with more than fifteen years supporting the administrative, narrative, dressing parts or as coordinator of the forum. M. Roberto Martínez Rocha received and recognition for its eighteen years as director and choreographer of BAFUG.

BAFUG was recognized in its 30th anniversary by M. Jaime Guerrero as a sign of unity between BAFUG and Nuevo Leon's Magister and by M. Huakatzin López who also handed a recognition for its career.

This event had the presence of the director of Cultural Extension, Dr. Sara Julsrud López; the ex-director from BAFUG América Balbuena as well as master choreographers that have enriched BAFUG with their expertise.
