Celaya, Gto., November 28, 2015.- Campus Celaya-Salvatierra through the Division of Health Sciences and Engineering, conscious of society's needs in matters of global health, offers the program for the Bachelor degree in Nutrition that in 2014 obtained from the National Council for the Quality of Educative Programs in Nutriology (CONCAPREN from its acronym in Spanish) a document which accredits and recognizes the quality of the program and commits to the systematic work to assure the continuous improvement.
The educative modality of this program is schooled and has ten enrollments with a maximum of 20 students; the study plan divides in 53% theoretical activity and 47% practical activities.
For a consecutive year has received from CENEVAL the recognition as "program classified in the high academic performance standard" because of the students obtained an outstanding development in the IDAP-EGEL exam.
Today, the role of the nutritionist can influence from the public sector, as well as in the private, food services, food industry, population nourishments o well from their office. This bachelor offers a multidisciplinary and vanguard formation, as well as the knowledge and abilities needed to plan, organize and evaluate nourishment programs, providing food services and development of new products with nutritional quality.
Annually, the university's community participated in an international forum where through conferences, workshops and worktables, experts from other universities and national & international centers join to show the assistants the trends on nutrition and an adequate healthy lifestyle.
