Celaya, Gto., a 27 de noviembre de 2015.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) through the Campus Celaya-Salvatierra offers in the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences, the bachelor degree in Financial Management in presence mode, which feature is to create graduates with innate leadership, entrepreneur spirit, human sense and interest in the international markets.
The bachelor degree has an eight-semester duration under the credit system, procedure that allows the student to graduate when he or she completes the number of distributed credits in forty-four learning units.
This is a new creation program and focuses in the student as main actor of the teaching-learning process, as it is stipulated in the educative model from the University of Guanajuato, one of the most innovative in Latin America.
With only a five-year career, the bachelor degree in Financial Management, has managed to consolidate as a first option in the region. It is worth to mention that the first generation graduated in 2014 and had the support to promote academic exchange among different Spanish, Colombian and Canadian universities.
In addition, students in the last semester can subscribe to the course "Credit Assessors", workshop offered with support from the Secretary of Economic Development from the state of Guanajuato.
It is important to mention that the proper arrangements are being done to submit the bachelor degree in Financial Management to the process of evaluation before CIEES ("Comités Interinstitucionales para la Evaluación de la Educación Superior"), organism that ensures the quality of the higher education.
This bachelor comprehends the handling of the economic funds that organizations possess. The development of this educative program has the objective to form professionals with a sound preparation in mathematics and administrative sciences.
Equally, students are specialized in negotiating and managing the financial resources of an organization with the purpose to optimize them based in laws, regulations, and current dispositions always with social integrity, ethic and responsibility.
The manager implements investment and financing strategies to increase the profitability of business under a good practice of corporate administration. It has a wide spectrum of work areas where treasury, bank, insurance, financial markets, stock market investors, credit administration, planning and consulting and in businesses can develop. Also in organisms and institutions be that national or international, banks, IRS and public credit, Banco de Mexico, consulting businesses, Secretary of finance in cities and states.
