
Irapuato, Gto., December 2, 2015.- The quality of the higher education at Campus Irapuato-Salamanca from the University of Guanajuato confirmed when entering the Census of High Academic Performance Bachelor Programs from the educative programs from Agricultural engineer, nursing and midwifery, as well as computing systems.
The National Center for Higher Education (CENEVAL for its acronym in Spanish) the acknowledgement of the Agricultural Engineer taught in the Division of Life Sciences that for second consecutive year incorporates in the standard of academic performance with level I, in the General Exam for Graduating Bachelor (EGEL).
The program of nursing and midwifery, offered in Irapuato, incorporates with the level II to such census, same as the program for computing systems taught in the Division of engineering in Salamanca.
These acknowledgements are obtained in Standard 1 when the 80% of the evaluated students obtain a satisfactory or outstanding performance and Standard 2 when the testimony reaches a 60% or more from the evaluated group.
After the results published, the Rector from Campus Irapuato – Salamanca, Dr. Ernesto Camarena Aguilar, recognized the Department of Agronomy as the spearhead for the campus. Because they were the first to accredit as a quality program and that motivated the rest of the departments to follow, and now they set the example with the evaluation of the graduate, beginning a relay race because the next generation will be motivated to maintain in the standard.
The director from the Division of Life Sciences, Dr. Eduardo Salazar Solis, said that these recognitions reflect the culture for effort from the professors; hence, he also congratulated the programs' coordinators for motivating their graduates to submit to the exam from external evaluators.
CENEVAL organizes the award ceremony and will be in February 2016.
