Guanajuato, Gto., December 10, 2015. This Friday, December 11 will be the closing ceremony for the "Third Diploma in Criminal Procedural Law with mention in principles, guarantees and constitutional rules that fundament the accusatory system", offered by the University of Guanajuato (UG), together with the "Instituto de Estudio e Investigación Jurídica (INEJ)" in Nicaragua.

The course is virtual and has the support from the Public Advocacy from the State of Guanajuato, and has the objective to provide the necessary tools for the comprehension and application of principles, guarantees and rules of the accusatory systems in the criminal proceedings, in the context of the reforms to the procedural law in Latin America.

The Diploma offered by UG through the Division of Law; Politics and Government, is directed to the justice administration's officers, public defenders, cops, law schools, college professors and law professionals in the areas of Criminal law, Criminal procedure, Constitutional law and human rights; as well as students from the last year of the bachelor degree in Law or related areas.

The classes developed through the technologic platform of the Virtual Classroom from INEJ, along sixteen weeks, plus one more for introduction. The topics were about the Criminal Procedural Reform in Latin America, Procedural Systems, research phase and the fundamental rights of the accused, the due process and the principles that legitimize the proof, among others.

The official closing ceremony for the Diploma will be on December 11 at 17:00 hours in the Hall of Acts, located in UG's Central building.
