Guanajuato, Gto., December 17, 2015.- The University of Guanajuato's Campus Guanajuato located in San Miguel, conducted series of talks with the name "Los niños: un mundo con valores" (Children: a world with values) to reinforce the approach between the student community and parents, allowing to boost the universal values such as friendship, respect to prevent criminal behavior.

Dr. Cecilia Tovar Hernández, Coordinator at San Miguel, informed that the first stage of the talks is to boost the values happened before two hundred fourth and fifth graders from the elementary school "Fragua de la Independencia". In this event, some shorts were projected at the end with the purpose to make the children aware of the importance of emotions and values.

He explained that the idea to begin with this series or talks is based on the premise that the fight against delinquency is not usually with an army and police, but must be prevented and sustained in universal values such as the self-respect and respect others.

"A good way to prevent delinquency, child drug addiction as well as teenage pregnancy, and even in minor girls, can be avoided parting from an education where the values are fundamental", emphasized the coordinator from San Miguel.

Dr. Tovar Hernández told that during the closing dynamic they had an excellent result, because through the hugs from the students they gave samples of hope for a better world. Most children were participative and sensitive, some were reluctant, but at the end they blended right in, she assured.

Finally, the coordinator at San Miguel, revealed that one of the fourth grader groups, two girls could not hold the tears and gave testimony of how important is for them their family and how many times their parents made huge sacrifices for them to have a better life.
