Guanajuato, Gto., December 29, 2015.- With the purpose that the students from the University of Guanajuato (UG) develop competencies to comprehend the national and international environment, the High School College from Salamanca and Guanajuato offer the technological bachelor with international profile (BTPI for its acronym in Spanish).

With this program, the student can specialize in the Mechatronics and Science of Materials areas, to later perform higher studies specialized in such themes and in this way develop the international profile which will allow to integrate as a technician in the job market.

Besides, BTPI seeks to form technicians with a high sense of social responsibility so the students can make activities that include academic exchanges, semester residencies in national and international institutions, learning a foreign language, intercultural fairs, observation visits or familiarization with transnational companies, among others.

Currently, UG has an agreement with the National Colleges of technology in Nagaoka and Oyama, as well as other national institutions, which allows the students to interact with other academic programs.

After graduation, the students will be capable to perform in these technological areas and compete in the job field in productive sectors, mainly in the automotive, metal mechanic and plastic industries, which are very important for the economy in the state of Guanajuato.
