Guanajuato, Gto., January 12, 2016.- Professors from the Department of Music from the Division of Architecture, Art and Design from the University of Guanajuato, Claire Hellweg and José Cayetano, organized the second edition of the "Festival Internacional de Metales" Guanajuato (International Festival of Metals) which began this week and ends in January 15.

In an interview, horn professor, Claire Hellweg, indicated that such festival covers several activities from where a concert program for all audiences stands out.

The International Festival of Metals is a space in which the students have the opportunity to take class with prestigious musicians from all over the world, Likewise, they offer concerts with the teacher as with the students.

"Wednesday January 13 at the "Templo de la Compañia", will be a chamber music concert lead by the "Tempo Primo" ensemble, event in which different sound combination will be made through instrumental groups from 2 to 10 people", Hellweg indicated.

Equally, on Thursday January 14, there will be a concert in the "Teatro Principal"; for such occasion, professors from the second edition of the festival will play solo accompanied by a piano.

To finalize, the closing concert will be on Friday January 15, it will have the participation from both the students and the professors presenting diverse plays that were studies through the course. The event will be held in the "Teatro Principal".

Claire Hellweg precise that all concerts will begin at 20:30hr and will have a general cost of $50.00 MXN, tickets can be acquired an hour before the event in each place.

Here are the most renowned invited musicians: Rolan Szentpali, Main Tuba from the Hungary National Symphonic; Debora Maffeis, Co-principal Horn in the Aalborg Symphonic (Denmark); Lacey Hays, Freelance trumpet in Dallas, Juan Pardo; Main trombone from the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jalisco, Bernardo Medel Díaz, Main trumpeter from the Symphonic Orchestra of Xalapa; Juan Cruz Torres Díaz; OSUG's trumpeter and member of the "Tempo Primo" ensemble, Louis Olenick, OSUG's main trombone and member of the "Tempo Primo" ensemble and Salvador Pérez Galavíz, OSUG's Main tuba and member of the "Tempo Primo" ensemble.
