Guanajuato, Gto., January 21, 2016.- During the "First DCEA Forum: Successful experiences of the 2014 study plans", scholars from the seven degrees offered in the Division, exchanged experiences and proposals for a better performance, since next Monday the semiannual classes will begin for the January-June 2016 period.
Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López, Director of the Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA), reminded when they began with the current structure of the University of Guanajuato –since 2008—there was an "induction" or welcome for professors, where they were informed about regulations, update, the role of tutoring and activities proper from the part-time or full-time professor.
However, they considered to have many semesters with the same, hence, and since 2014 began with the current study plans, they decided to give a new form to these previous reunions, under the concept, in this first time, of "First DCEA forum: successful experiences of the 2014 study plans".
In this order, each semester will vary so it will be a dynamic process, e.g. the next topic to cover could be about transversal opportunities in the study plans, and later a third forum could be virtual learning environments and the role in the educational model of the University of Guanajuato.
Successively they can cover several aspects, Dr. Gómez López explained, so it won't be repetitive and always have feedback from professors since they are who are with the student in the classrooms and in the learning-teaching process.
She informed that there are more than 300 professors, but the number varies each semester. In the forum, they took the word from a professor representing each degree, and afterwards open a question and answer session with voluntary participation where all who wished, could express their opinion.
It is worth to remember that in DCEA they offer degrees such as Industrial Relations, Administrative Information Systems, Quality and Productivity Management, Touristic Resources Management, International Trade, Public Accountant and Economy.
