Guanajuato, Gto., January 20, 2016.- Ana Montiel, graduate from the degree in Plastic Arts from the University of Guanajuato, is the founder of an artistic production label called "Proyecto Antipasto".

Since 2008 until today, Ana Montiel has led this label with the end to create and manage cultural projects of contemporary art. This time, "Proyecto Anitpasto" (Antipasto project) invites everyone who is interested in participating in the "Music and Medicine Workshop" taught by Daniel Lara Ballesteros, researcher and sound artist. This activity will happen the next January 30th and 31st in a schedule from 10 o'clock to 6 o'clock.

It is precise to mention that this workshop produces a musical/hearing sensitization and transmit general knowledge of music as ancestral music and their recent research and studies.

Shared knowledge for this course will become complementary tools for professionals in human development or holistic techniques to heal. The subjects are easy to understand for people who begin discovering this holistic, therapeutic or artistic topics.

The pretension at the conclusion of the workshop is for the assistants have the knowledge to make protocols with the purpose of guiding and including meditation with the sound of Tibetan bowls. They will equally learn the correct use of harmonic scales, rhythms and note scales while using more than one bowl at a time.

Likewise, it will be highlighted the importance of the integrated voice to the vibration of the bowls. People who take the workshop will know several techniques to handle the energy released in healing.

It is important to mention that Daniel Lara Ballesteros, explores the theme of sound since 1999 be that through analog, digital, acoustic technologies and perception. He works in sound installation, live music, theater and performance sound, net art, Live Cinema, as well as art and exploring the sound with therapeutic means. Nationally, he has presented and exposed his work in MUAC, LAA, Ex Teresa, CAN and the Museum Rufino Tamayo, Centro Cultural España, Centro de las Artes, Museum Marco, Lunario del Auditoria Nacional.
