Guanajuato, Gto., January 20, 2016. The University of Guanajuato (UG) foresees that in the school period January – June 2016 3,800 students will enroll, from which 23, 489 would be in the different campuses and the rest will be part of the High School college.

According UG's Department of School Administration, it is estimated that the number of student to re-enroll in the beginning cycle, plus the newcomers, will add up to 36, 805 students.

The High School college, composed by ten schools and eleven locations, will receive approximately 13,316 students.

As for the higher level, Campus Guanajuato will have the highest enrollment with approximately 10, 362 students. Campus Irapuato-Salamanca will receive 5, 120 and in Campus Celaya-Salvatierra 4, 319 will enroll and in Campus Leon 3, 688 students will enroll.

It is important to clarify that the number may vary, because the enrollment period ends until next Saturday January 23rd.

Even when the quarterly classes began past Monday, it will be until January 25th when the school activity starts again in the semiannual modality.
