Guanajuato, Gto., January 19, 2016.- The graduate from Law degree from the University of Guanajuato, Francisco Javier Vélez Ramírez, makes a musical project named "Colectivo AMP" (AMP Collective), a project that seeks a social improvement by addressing several problems, in this case, migration.
In an interview, Francisco Javier Vélez indicated that "Colectivo AMP" recorded a disc named "Frontera" (Frontier) and which through music, all the profits received from sales, cloth collect, among other actions, are pretended to be donated to improve the quality of life of Mexican migrants.
It is precise to mention that "Frontera" is produced by the civil association "Suma A.C." located in Mexico City, under the direction of the writer and movie director, Pablo de Antuñano.
The graduate of the University of Guanajuato, highlighted that such musical project, fuses several genres such as rock, ska, "cumbia villera", Latin American music, jazz, and blues just to mention some.
Equally, he mentioned that in the creation of this disc he collaborated with the ex-singer from the band "Salón Victoria", Héctor Carrillo; the mezzo soprano singer, Jacinta Barbachano, as well as Julieta Soto, blues and rock singer. Graduates from the Faculty of Music of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, among others also participated in this project.
Besides, Francisco Javier Vélez, indicated that the disc "Frontera" will the motion track for a movie called "Verde, blanco y rojo" that begins filming this year in the cities of Tijuana, CdMx, Los Angeles, San Diego and Guanajuato.
It is important to mention that the musical production was already presented in December in the country's capital and a concert in the city of Salvatierra, which was carried out thanks to the support from the "Instituto Estatal de Atención al Migrante y su Familia".
