León, Gto., January 19, 2016.- 29 students that come from different countries such as Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Greece, Spain and Canada and from different states from the Mexican republic, among them Jalisco, CdMx, Durango, baja California and Guerrero arrived to Campus Leon of the University of Guanajuato.

These students will be taking their high school studies in any of the three campus divisions and will be part of the enrollment during the semester January – June 2016.

In a formal event, university authorities --lead by the Campus Leon Rector Dr, Carlos Hidalgo Valadez-- welcomed the students with a message. Directors from the Division of Life Sciences and the Division of Sciences and Engineering and Division of Social Sciences and Human Studies highlighted the learning opportunities that will have through their stay in the city of Leon. There was also an institutional video that was projected where they identified the structure of the University of Guanajuato, specifically of Campus Leon.

On his behalf, Rector from Campus Leon, informed that the main objective of this program is for students to make their academic residencies that are totally aligned with the University's curricula where they come from because they are equivalent. Likewise, this action represents the possibility to make cultural exchanges, collaboration networks and include in research projects of the academic bodies from the three divisions.

"I invite to hug, live and share our university values: truth, freedom, respect and responsibility, but I also invite you to live this stage of your life, to enjoy it and enjoy everything your academic exchange offers" he asserted.
