
Guanajuato, Gto., February 11, 2016. After four decades of collaboration, Radio Universidad de Guanajuato and the German Station Deutsche Welle (DW) will seek to expand their cooperation areas, now through the System of Radio, TV and Hypermedia (SIRTH) of the House of Studies.
During the visit within the activities of the 55th anniversary of "Radio Universidad de Guanajuato", the representative of the Deutsche Welle in Mexico, Manuel Méndez, explained that they began negotiating to extend the collaboration to the field of TV through SIRTH, lead by M. Ricardo García Muñoz.
Deutsche Welle's TV channel offers contents in Spanish, English and German that allow covering different markets, because of the worldly presence of the station, explained Manuel Méndez.
On the matter, he sustained that DW represents a global proposition of communication, dedicated to the information, news, diffusion of universal culture and the support of the public education.
Described as "the voice of the German townsfolk in the world", the station has kept a very serious profile throughout their 65 years of history; that has found a very serious and professional niche of communication in public media in Mexico", such is the case of Radio Universidad de Guanajuato.
Hence, during the anniversary ceremony of the university radio, DW's representative handed a recognition in which the German chain expresses its gratitude for the 40 years of collaboration.
DW is one of the most important, informative chains in the world, with presence through TV, Radio and Internet and contents in 30 languages.
